Teri Tynes is an experienced arts writer, editor, and web content strategist with a background in print and digital publishing, the arts, and nonprofit communications. She has worked as a gallery director and manager, curating and publicizing solo and group exhibitions.
In 2007 Tynes created the website Walking Off the Big Apple, a strolling guide to New York City. She built a global audience through writing original content about New York as well as cultivating fans through social media.
Tynes has published reviews of art exhibitions and multi-media performances for ArtPapers, The Dallas Morning News, and other publications, and she is the author of several catalogue essays on contemporary art.
